       Michael raced at Bedford on Friday 6/20.  Due to a bad pill draw Michael started 9th in his heat and finished fifth.  Come feature time the 79 started 13th, working his way through the field he was mixed up in an accident which damaged the front end of the car.  After coming into the pits for some quick repair by the crew he went back out and joined the field in last place.  With some aggressive driving from the back he ended up taking the checkered flag in the 13th spot.  Michael and the entire 79 team would like to congratulate Jack Pencil on his victory.

         On Saturday 6/21 the 79 team traveled to Sharon Speedway where Michael set 7th quickest time, but due to Mother Nature, not being a race fan, the race was rained out.

             

      The Lucas Oil Dirt Series was rained out at Bedford Speedway and is rescheduled for July 31st. 

     The MACS race at Sharon Speedway on 6/21/08 was rained out and is rescheduled for 8/23/08.
